Efanz offers a "Filtered" service option for those that choose to limit access to certain sites with specific content.  To utilize this feature, you must subscribe to the "Filtered" service plan.  Contact technical support to upgrade your account for no additional charge.  A technical service representative will assist you with the changes to the settings.

The first time you connect on the filtered service, you will be prompted to choose the categories you wish to restrict.  The filtered service does require a second login process to access any web pages.

To modify your categories, or take advantage of the other features available on the filtered service, follow these instructions:

  1. Connect to the Internet.
  2. Visit www.filterme.net.
  3. Type in your LOGIN which will be your primary email address followed by @fan.netrelated.net  (example:  username@fan.netrelated.net).
  4. Type in your password for the filtered service.
  5. Click on SETTINGS.
  6. Click on CATEGORIES.
  7. Check or uncheck the boxes for the content you wish to be restricted.
  8. Click SUBMIT.

Note:  The Efanz "Filtered" service offers convenient reporting tools to monitor activity.  To take advantage of this feature, or other reporting options, complete steps 1 through 4 as above, click YOUR ACCOUNT and then REPORTER.  You will be notified via email of any sites that have been denied access.

No filtered service is 100% accurate.  See Children and the Internet for more tips to protect your child.
